Every Tornado Siren in Dallas Hacked
156 emergency sirens rang out simultaneously in Dallas just before midnight on Friday, April 8th, thanks to a hacker.
The purpose of the sirens is to warn those outdoors of a pending tornado or dangerous storm. Emergency management ultimately had to shut the system off in order to stop the sirens.
Officials believe the hack came from physical access to a hub connecting all the sirens. The culprit is still on the loose at this time.
