Neat Microsoft Teams

Neat says its Neat Board, Neat Bar and Neat Pad are now certified for Microsoft Teams and now natively run Teams and Teams Rooms for Android.

According to Neat, Neat Bar and Neat Pad come as a package, and users can use Neat Pad as a console inside their Teams meeting rooms or scheduling panel outside the room.

Other devices such as Neat Frame and neat Bar Pro will follow soon with Microsoft Teams certification, the company says.

The Neat Board is a 65-inch multi-touch screen with an embedded audio system and wide-angle camera designed for collaboration, wireless content sharing and whiteboarding.

Neat Bar, meanwhile, is a videoconferencing bar with embedded audio and camera designed for meeting, huddle or focus rooms for up to 10 people. It can be mounted above or below screens. It also comes with Neat Pad, the company’s dynamic touch screen and meeting room control device that can be mounted on a wall or simply placed on a table with one PoE cable.

Neat Pad can also be mounted outside of the meeting room to be used as a room scheduler for either Teams or Zoom.

In a statement, Neat CEO Simen Teigre says Neat for Microsoft Teams opens the company’s unique devices and experiences to a broader market and gives customers greater flexibility for hybrid work environments.

“Working with Microsoft, we look forward to continuing to solve customers’ challenges in the meeting space and help unlock the creative potential of hybrid teams,” Teigre says.

Ilya Bukshteyn, vice president of Microsoft Teams Devices, calls the certification process for Neat’s devices “delightful.”

“The certification process for Neat’s devices has not only been rapid but also delightful for our joint customers, who appreciated how Neat’s hardware and especially Neat Symmetry video shined with Microsoft Teams and Teams Rooms,” Bukshteyn says. “Neat is an exciting addition to our Teams partner ecosystem, and we look forward to our joint customers experiencing Teams through these elegant and innovative devices.”
