High-Profile Twitter Accounts Hacked
A number of high-profile Twitter accounts posted Nazi-related tweets after a third-party Twitter tool was hacked.
Forbes, BBC North America, Amnesty International, the European Parliament, and the Atlanta Police department were among the compromised accounts. The accounts posted the same messages, referring to “Nazi Germany” and “Nazi Holland.”
It is believed that third-party app Twitter Counter was the source of the attack.
