For so long virtual reality (VR) has been closely associated with gaming. But it has applications in so many more industries besides this, including enterprise. By utilizing VR, companies can conduct presentations that are way more meaningful and engaging than traditional power point lectures.
Now VRtuoso offers a VR presentation platform aimed squarely at the enterprise market. It’s a trend that is expected to gain traction. According to a new report from ABI Research, the VR training market is expected to grow to $6.3 billion by 2022 from $216 million in 2018.
End-users can rapidly create VRtuoso slides with 360° and two-dimensional content, like video, images, text, shapes and polls. VRtuoso is the PowerPoint for VR and much more.
“Virtual reality will take hold first in enterprise and industrial applications that benefit from powerful and versatile visualization tools,” says principal analyst Craig Foster. “As the technology matures and costs decline, VR will increasingly be utilized for more mainstream commercial purposes such as marketing and advertising, travel and tourism, and retail.
“With VRtuoso enterprise customers can now quickly create VR app presentations in-house with near zero-learning curve for their marketing, sales and L&D divisions,” says Samsung UK enterprise business director Mike Maynard.
“VRtuoso hits the sweet spot for businesses thinking about using VR for immersive learning because it is so easy to use,” says BT’s SVP of external innovation Jean-Marc Frangos. “It democratizes VR for learners and teachers alike. For example, great user-generated content can be repackaged and reused meaning reduced costs.”
“Companies no longer need to engage a digital agency to create VR apps for daily use, such as in L&D and sales,” said Francesco Furnari, chief executive at VRtuoso. “We have commoditized VR production and usage meaning enterprises can now embed VR in all facets of their business, while saving them money. VRtuoso is the true turnkey Virtual Reality learning product.”
