Cash register, check. Security system, check. Landline, check. Internet, check. What are you missing? If you’re like most business owners, you might overlook many important electronics for your business that could help improve the success, customer experience and efficiency of how your company runs. Many of these electronics are essential no matter what kind of business you are running.

In this article, we’re going to highlight a few of the essential commercial electronics that your business can benefit from.

Distributed Audio

One of the most common problems customers have in restaurants, boutiques and gyms is the music is either too quiet and no one can hear it, or it’s is too loud and no one can hear anyone else. This is where distributed audio can help.

With distributed audio you can set different volumes for each room, have a specific playlist for each room and control it all from one place.

TVs and Mounting Options

Many businesses already have TVs but there are lots of options to consider and plenty of different ways to mount your TVs. Some businesses have outdoor areas that require TVs built to withstand outdoor conditions, and others like spas and salons may need a TV that is resilient against humidity. Other businesses might need TVs on a mount designed to swivel and extend to accommodate a dynamic entertaining space.

Presentation Equipment

Most people think large corporate offices and agencies are the only businesses that benefit from having presentation equipment, but there are many applications for presentation equipment that others can use to create options for their customers and even new business opportunities.

For example, restaurants can use presentation equipment to improve a customer’s event experience when hosting a birthday party. Shops, gyms, and other businesses can benefit from having presentation equipment setup to hold workshops, training sessions and other events right within their own space without having to rent out another venue.

Businesses can also use this presentation equipment to offer services such as a hosting location for commercial events or team building activities to broaden their customer base.

Digital Displays

Digital displays are a versatile and custom addition to any business. They can be used to display restaurant menus, upcoming events, sponsored advertising, helpful tips and reminders, emergency information and more; the options are endless. Digital display boards allow you to be in control of the content. You can update them as often as you like.

Many modern digital displays allow customers to interact with the displays using touch screens and motion sensors.

PA Systems

When your business covers a large area or has a lot of ambient noise, PA systems are a great solution for distributing messages quickly. PA systems can be used to send out automated messages as a quick reminder or emergency alert. They can be used to make widespread announcements to an entire establishment. PA systems can even be used to play music throughout a business.

Lighting

There are many ways to save some extra money for your business. Lighting and automated shades is one of the easiest ways to do so. With lighting systems you can control and monitor your businesses energy usage to identify places where energy is being wasted. You can also setup schedules and triggers for lighting to streamline the process.

Similar to how you can automate your lighting systems, automated shades can be setup to trigger when they sense motion, a rise in a room’s temperature, or a scheduled action. This not only helps with saving money on electricity bills, but also can shield your customers and employees from bothersome blinding sunlight before they have a chance to complain about the problem.

Commercial Automation Systems

There are many electronics for your business that can be setup to work together with full automation so that you don’t have to spend your time managing them. These commercial automation systems give you the control at your fingertips to remotely lock your business or monitor the security systems, set up an entire space for a particular mood including temperature and lighting, or create certain settings on a schedule throughout the day.

These commercial automation systems are also designed with usability in mind to make sure you and your employees can operate them without the need for training, support calls or constant references to the user manuals.

Conclusion

There are many electronics for your business that can help make your life (and your customers’ lives) easier. We hope this guide will help you get a better idea of which electronics your business could benefit from.

Also, if you’re a medium to large sized company that needs to track inventory and you want to do away with spreadsheets and messy excel files, then you should checkout cyberstockroom’s visual inventory management system. It’s a time saving tool that can help make your life a little easier.
