American HealthTech, a provider of electronic health records for the post-acute care and senior living markets, announces the availability of the CPSI COVID-19 Toolkit to all AHT customers.
Available free of cost to all American HealthTech clients, the CPSI COVID-19 Toolkit is designed to provide healthcare providers and their clinicians with tools to safely and proactively engage with their residents and staff in response to COVID-19.
This solution offers remote care options for providers via video chat and secure texting tools so they can continue to address the ongoing care needs of residents amidst the lockdown protocol in place for skilled nursing facilities.
Video chat tools are also included in the solution to allow residents the opportunity to stay virtually connected to their families.
MS Care Center of Alcorn County, part of the Oxford Healthcare Management, piloted the CPSI COVID-19 Toolkit and the impact has been extremely positive, according to the company.
Tonya Eubanks, president of Oxford Healthcare Management, “The COVID-19 Toolkit allows our residents to have their routine healthcare appointments without journeying to different doctors’ offices for each need. This solution also allows the resident to stay on their appointment schedule as needed in light of current in-person visit restrictions.”
Rob Skelton, administrator for MS Care Center of Alcorn County, agreed.
“Our residents have not been out of our facility for appointments since March 13th. The CPSI COVID-19 Toolkit allows them to stay at our facility and still see their doctors — no extreme weather, no travel challenges and most importantly, we can reduce their exposure to COVID-19.”
