Logitech Brio 300

Logitech is releasing the Brio 300 Series, a new line of compact, plug-and-play webcams with Full-HD 1080p resolution, automatic light correction and a noise-reducing mic designed for more productive video call experiences.

According to the Newark, Calif.-based manufacturer of computer peripherals, the Brio 300 and Brio 305 feature high dynamic contrast, automatic light correction and a single digital microphone with noise reduction that enables users to be seen and heard clearly despite poor lighting and background noise.

The Brio 300 Series webcams connect to endpoints through a USB-C port for simple connectivity and also include a built-in privacy shutter. The webcams come in a cone-shape design in off-white, graphite and rose colors to pair with Logitech mice and keyboards.

Citing the company’s recent survey of more than 3,000 remote workers, General Manager of Logitech B2B Scott Wharton says most non-webcam users struggle with poor lighting conditions, unflattering camera angles and low-quality sound from laptop speakers.

“The Brio 300 series webcams are perfect for those who want to make the easy but substantial jump to significantly improve their video meeting experiences with an external webcam,” Wharton says. “And for companies who need to provide certified, simple-to-use webcams to employees’ home or office workstations, Brio 305 is that budget-friendly option.”

For easy IT management, the webcams are compatible with most videoconferencing platforms and are certified for use with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. In addition, the Brio 305 can be deployed across organizations and managed remotely through Logitech Sync’s, the company’s device management software offering.

The company says the plastic parts in both webcams include certified post-consumer recycled plastic and other sustainable materials.

Both webcams are priced at $69.99. They will be available this month at logitech.com and at major retailers.
