InfoComm 2017 attendees will have a chance to see Bogen’s Nyquist communications platform, an IP- and software-based solution, in person.
Cynthia Peters, VP, marketing and product planning, Bogen, took the time to speak with CI about the Nyquist platform and other products being announced this year at the company’s InfoComm booth (#5861).
If we learn about only one product innovation in your InfoComm 2017 booth, what should it be?
We are going to debut and demonstrate our new IP-based, software-centric communications platform called Nyquist.
The Nyquist platform addresses the communication needs of a variety of users: K-12 schools, universities, industrial facilities, retailers, offices, bars and restaurants — anywhere easy and effective communication and music distribution/management are required.
During the show we will be demonstrating the first implementation of the platform, the E7000, a solution that is optimized for schools and universities. Visitors will see for themselves the intuitive and easy to use web based Graphical User Interface (GUI) at work.
The Nyquist platform is adaptable and can be scaled to support a virtually unlimited number of schedules, facilities and stations. Additional features and capabilities can be easily added as user’s needs change. The software platform can be easily upgraded over time to address the ever-changing customer needs, environments and technology.
Interested persons can take a closer look at the Nyquist E7000 IP communications solution for schools at www.bogenedu.com.
What if we have time to see one more thing?
We will also have on hand the latest product from our professional audio brand Apogee Sound, the ALA-C1 linear array column loudspeaker. It’s ideal for small to medium sized public spaces such as school and civic auditoriums, small theaters, lecture halls, and houses of worship.
I think dealers are going to be very impressed with the quality of the materials and technology of the product and downright shocked at the highly competitive pricing.
What’s one last impression you’d like us to take away from your InfoComm 2017 booth?
In recent years Bogen has made large investments in facilities, people, technology and processes in order to be a better resource for our customers.
We’re using this year’s InfoComm as a means of showing off some of the fruits of those investments in the form of new technologies, new products and an aggressive new marketing posture.
