LILIN Americas announces the release of its PSR5024EX pan/tilt/zoom (P/T/Z) IP camera. The camera is said to be weather-proof and offers full HD 1080p video at a maximum of 60 frames per second (FPS).
Well-suited for city-wide surveillance, the new camera features true day/night recording and up to 150 meters of infrared night vision, as well as variable pan/tilt movements — including 360° endless rotation — that enables users to precisely navigate across wide areas, such as traffic intersections or large public spaces, according to the company. A choice of 20x or 30x optical zoom lens options are also available.
“We designed the new P/T/Z based on our dealer feedback requesting 60FPS as well as a vertical tilt of +30° above the horizon for traffic, railroad and highway applications,” says Joe Cook, vice president & general manager of LILIN Americas. “They are IP-66 rated and can withstand up to 134mph category 4 hurricane windspeeds. Plus, with rain repelling glass, they have vastly improved visibility during storms. LILIN electronic image stabilization reduces the vibration effect when mounting high on poles for an end-result of more clearer, smoother images in all weather conditions.”
LILIN says the PSR5024EX cameras feature various video motion detection alarms that can be configured to enhance dynamic scene awareness and help to deliver reliable security monitoring.
These alarms can also be set to trigger recording to the on-board microSD card and alert users to activity via email notification or for remote viewing on the LILINViewer mobile app.
