GoTo is bringing new remote monitoring and management features to GoTo Resolve, its IT support platform, designed to help small and medium-sized businesses address issues proactively.
The new features in GoTo Resolve available now include background file management that allows IT professionals to manage files on a remote device without having to connect to the device and disrupt the user’s workflow, remote terminal access for admins to take action behind the scenes and multi-agent collaboration.
However, the company will also be rolling out new cybersecurity offerings this summer, including antivirus management for admins to monitor and manage antivirus software from a single dashboard, a new add-on partnership with a leading antivirus software provider, patch management and real-time alerts.
The company bills GoTo Resolve as purpose built for the IT support needs of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as a cost-effective solution to traditional support tools. GoTo also calls the tool easy to deploy and securely manage with a “first-to-market zero trust architecture,” as well as conversational ticketing and new security and management features—all in one solution.
GoTo says unifying those tools under one product provides more ROI and efficiency for IT teams via a simplified agent experience.
Paddy Srinivasan, chief product and technology officer at GoTo, said in a statement that the company was founded 20 years ago on the need to remotely manage systems. The new launch combines the most needed remote monitoring and management features into a single product, GoTo, which also includes the company’s communication offerings such as GoTo Meeting and GoTo Connect.
“However, GoTo Resolve is more than just a consolidated product,” Srinivasan said. “We built this to help our customers stay ahead with a new, modern user experience our customers love, zero trust architecture to keep end-users secure, and a simplified platform that SMBs need. All at a fraction of the cost of other providers. GoTo is truly delivering more for less at a time when productivity and cost effectiveness are needed most.”
