Connected Technologies releases the new Connect ONE ticket module for tracking building and facility service requests, from a broken door or window to security system repair needs.
The module creates and generates critical event, incident and repair tickets, automatically notifying selected authorized parties of service requests and their current status.
Designed to ensure prompt handling and remediation of requests, the module tracks tickets in real-time throughout an enterprise, campus, or property with multiple locations.
All reports, work orders, history or other documentation, including photos, can be uploaded directly to the ticket. Connect ONE is a web-hosted security management interface for integrated security, access control, mobile credential access, video and critical environmental monitoring.
More about Connect ONE:
Connect One™ is a leading fabless semiconductor company that provides value-added solutions for connecting devices to the Internet and other IP-based networks. Our field-proven embedded chips, embedded device servers, and external serial device servers enable manufacturers of any kind of non-PC device to easily, quickly and cost-effectively add IP connectivity to new and existing devices. We provide you with unequalled solutions and support at every step in your project, from concept and design through mass deployment.
Connect One’s position as “The Device Networking Authority” is based on much more than just our current market leadership. It is rooted in our over 15 years of experience in M2M (machine-to-machine) device connectivity, our dual expertise in both devices and IP networking, and our innovations that have become industry standards.
Connect One was founded in 1996 with the goal of enabling devices to tap into the Internet’s global infrastructure, long before most companies were aware of the possibility of using Internet protocols (IP) to connect devices. We developed extensive expertise in IP connectivity as a result of the knowledge gained from the challenges of establishing reliable and ubiquitous Internet connectivity for our first product, an Internet fax device.
Based on this experience, in 1999 we introduced iChip™, the market’s first updateable Internet Controller™ chip – an entirely innovative concept that is now widely imitated in the industry.
In addition to the Internet Controller, among our other industry firsts is the first high-level IP connectivity API (Application Programming Interface), the AT+i™ protocol. The Internet Controller and high-level IP API are rapidly becoming standards for connecting non-PC devices to the Internet.
With data security becoming an increasingly major concern, Connect One continues to lead the market by being the first company to offer a SSL3/TLS1.0 offload solution for low-cost devices. Our iChipSec™ Internet Controllers create a new standard for secure, drop-in IP connectivity solutions as they offload security, TCP/IP and a wide selection of upper layer Internet protocols from any host processor.
