Low-voltage LED lighting system provider Lumastream says its LumaStream Quadrallux EP22 can be recessed into standard grid ceilings or suspended via cable. That makes it an ultra-low profile, 2-foot by 2-foot, LED fixture that is dimmable and offers uniform illumination for nearly any application, according to its press release.

The LumaStream Quadrallux  features a sturdy aluminum frame and is also available  in 1-foot  by 4-foot and 2-foot by 4-foot form factors.

While Lumastream’s low-voltage LED solutions target both residential and commercial application, the company says the Quadrallux EP22 is particularly suited for an array of commercial lighting applications. It will provide uniform illumination that maximizes visual comfort and efficiency leveraging LumaStream’s edge lit technology, according to the press release.

More on Lumastream Quadrallux EP22’s features (from press release):

Approved for use in wet locations, the fixture is an astonishingly slender ½-inch in depth and provides integral seismic clips to secure the fixture into a grid ceiling.

The dimming control, power conversion, and constant current drivers for multiple fixtures are housed in a remote DC, Class 2 intelligent power supply, which can be located up to 150-feet from the fixture.

The Quadrallux EP22 can be made to order with output to 6000 lumens, a wide array of color temperatures and with a CRI of 80+ or 90+, offering superb efficiency at 120 lumens per watt and faultless dimming down to .2%.The LumaStream Quadrallux EP22 has been engineered to work with the same power supply as the company’s popular downlight and conference room fixtures, giving lighting designers and integrators access to the most efficient “turnkey” complete lighting solution for their clients.

Each power supply output is individually addressable, enabling integrators to program scenes such as ON, OFF, PRESENTATION or other, and easily interface with their control platform of choice.

Because the Quadrallux EP22 uses LumaStream’s patented remote driver technology, the cool-running, energy efficient fixture is an ideal solution for an array of commercial applications of any size.

More on Lumastream Quadrallux EP22’s integrator-friendly features (from press release):

With LumaStream, integrators have full control over an end-to-end, architectural LED lighting solution that is modern and energy-efficient without the need to be dependent on a licensed electrician.

LumaStream’s LED lighting solutions are based on patented technology that enables smooth, faultless dimming as well as the distribution of low-voltage DC over long distances between remote power supplies and premium light fixtures without any degradation in performance.

Featuring fully scalable power supplies available in DMX or 0-10 volt configurations with up to 12 channels, the LumaStream lighting platform runs cooler and performs to specification longer than competitive LED lighting solutions.

Most critically, LumaStream supports their integration partners with comprehensive lighting design services as well as technical and sales support teams, giving them access to high-level expertise and a pathway to success in the lighting category.
