More Powerful Solar Panels
The silicone solar panels of today, while impressive, don’t capture the full amount of energy that they have the potential to capture. A new invention by MIT scientists allows solar panels to turn sunlight into heat and convert it back into light within the spectrum that solar panels can capture energy with. This allows for more efficiency than traditional solar panels, and in 10-15 years we could have the ability to capture so much energy in these panels that it doesn’t make sense to use anything else.
