Replacement: Servers
Everything from documentation to video files have been digitized and compressed in order to make them convenient to send around and store. So it’s no wonder that servers replaced filing cabinets and VHS tapes. That data is all stored in physical servers, or on a multitude of servers at the same time as part of the cloud.
