Sharp NEC Display Solutions has launched the new PE456USL Entry Installation projector, a new enterprise-grade projector designed for tight spaces, including museums, golf simulations, corporate offices and higher education.

The company says the projector will be part of the company’s PE Series, providing a short-throw, 4,500-lumen projection in areas with limited space where casting a shadow on the screen would create issues.

Sharp NEC Display Solutions calls specific attention to the 20,000-hour laser life, which brings better return on investment for organizations looking to get the most out of their projectors.

In addition, the projector’s compact form factor helps keep shipping and installation costs low, making it an affordable option for organizations with limited budgets.

“The PE456USL short-throw, laser projector can make challenging applications simple with close projector placement and minimal shadowing,” said Ryan Pitterle, senior product manager at Sharp/NEC. “It’s a great choice for any organization with limited space and in need of a reliable projector that produces impressive high-resolution images. We can’t wait to see how thePE456USL opens new doors for projection across the country.”

Sharp NEC Display Solutions released the PE Series of entry-installation laser projectors in 2019, and launched upgraded projectors in the series in May. The lineup now features three projectors: two 5,200-lumen projectors and the new PE456US, the third projector in that product family, according to the company’s website.

All are 4K-ready and feature LCD technology, but the PE456USL features short throw technology that can produce a 130-inch image from only 4 feet away.

The projector is backed by the company’s five-year warranty, including Instacare, the firm’s replacement program. The package also includes NaViset Administrator 2 for remote management and network-based control.
