Digital signage, at this point, is about more than simple imagery and messaging. It’s often about capturing a hard-to-capture audience with engaging video. So, while many might thing of Contemporary Research’s Venue Vizion, which VP of marketing Christy Ricketts wrote “can create multiple in-house channels of high definition content that are sure to engage viewers,” as a robust video distribution solution … well, they’re right. But it’s also a robust digital signage video distributions solution.
Contemporary Research sees ease of installation as a big selling point for Venue Vizion, according to VP of sales Matthew Sittloh. It comes pre-rack ready, he told TD sister brand CI during InfoComm 2017. “Also, it’s going to come prewired so it’s easier to install out in the field.”
