BrightSign showed off its HD and XD product lines, and demonstrated its line of 4K players, which recently won the NSCA’s Excellence in Product Innovation Award. BrightSign’s digital signage media was also seen in other companies’ booths, including BenQ America, Insteo and Panasonic for product demonstrations. BrightSign was also featured in DSE’s 10th Annual Digital Signage Guided Installation Tour to show attendees some of Las Vegas’s digital signage displays both on and off the Strip.

MultiTaction announced the launch of its Curved MultiTaction iWall, the first and only video wall that enables multi-user features, speedy responsiveness and support for smart device access. The video wall has curvatures of 360 degrees and widths up to 96 feet. MultiTaction debuted its new product with a 12-display Curved iWall, which was stacked horizontally for easy viewing and accessibility for attendees.

Pilkington North America introduced its most recent anti-reflective glass products on the show floor. These products include the OptiView Pro, which is a non-conductive coating designed with project capacitive and touch screen technologies; MirroView and MirroView 50/50, which are products that have a mirror coating used for concealing T.V.s when they are turned off; and NSG Glanova, a product for chemically strengthened cover glass for digital displays, smartphones, tablets and touch panels. Shuttle Computer Group announced that its DS57U media player is new and improved with two channel outputs and multiple inputs for installation versatility. This media player feeds into digital signage displays and provides enhanced computing and graphics performance. The DS57U also functions without a fan, and consumes less than 65W of power at full capacity.

Planar revealed its new DirectLight LED Video Wall System to attendees. The Video Wall System consists of a family of seamless LED video walls with narrow pixel pitches, ranging from 1.6 to 3.1 millimeters. The Video Wall System can be used for a wide range of interior displays and provides durability for heavy traffic and displays running 24/7.

ViewSonic unveiled its new 84-inch interactive, commercial grade display, the CDE8451-TL. The CDE8451-TL is an LED-based display with Ultra HD 4K resolution, along with 10-point touch for multiple users. ViewSonic also showed of its CDE7051-TL, a Full FS 1080p display that can withstand high-traffic areas. This display features a 70-inch, six-point simultaneous touch screen, thin bezels and 7H scratch-resistant surface for heavy use. Pictured is the CDE8451-TL.

Visix’s CEO and Creative Services Manager presented two of DSE’s 109 educational sessions. Visix also displayed its room sign with interactive 10 and 15 inch models, as well as the RoomBoard, which increases interactive wayfinding and room availability in a building. The company also gave away ten Google Chromecasts to registered visitors. Pictured is the RoomBoard solution.

Barco introduced the newest technologies in its V-series LED displays, the V4i and V6i. Both models provide medium-resolution displays for end users, and are managed and controlled by the V-series Toolset application software. When combined with the software, both displays offer end users more advanced options, including brightness and gamma and color temperature control. Pictured is the V4i.

Mimo Monitors revealed its third generation 7-inch monitor line called the “UM-760 series,” which features capacitive touch. The products within this series include the 7” USB Portable Slider 3G Display and the 7” USB-Driven VESA 3G Display. These monitors provide thin designs, zero bezels, universal USB compatibility and a resolution of 1024x600. The UM-760 series can be used for both at-home monitors and business use. The week might be coming to a close, but the excitement from the Digital Signage Expo 2015 is still fiery.
