6 Reasons Why Higher Ed Decision Makers Should Attend DSE 2016

Among an extensive show floor and numerous educational opportunities, here are some reasons why higher education decision makers should attended the Digital Signage Expo 2016.

Whether it’s new ideas, mass notification updates or integration tips, everyone needs help with their digital signage strategies.

Anyone sitting in this boat might benefit from the Digital Signage Expo (DSE) 2016.

The expo is “the world’s largest and longest running conference and trade show exclusively dedicated to showcasing innovative digital communications and interactive technology solutions for customer and employee-facing organizations.”

DSE traditionally features a show floor with 200 exhibitors, pre and post-show educational events, seminars and round table discussions geared towards digital signage.

This year’s show will be featured at the Las Vegas Convention Center from March 15-18.

In case you need more information on the show, here are six reasons why you should attend this year’s show:

1) It curtails the digital signage needs of over six different verticals.

DSE 2016 will feature events and solutions that will best serve the needs of decision makers in corporate communications, education facilities, network operators, restaurants, retail, system integrators transportation, and other verticals.

2) It features keynote speaker David Meerman Scott, Marketing and Sales Strategist

On Wednesday, March 16 from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m., marketing and sales strategist David Meerman Scott will deliver a keynote on how end users can use digital signage to reach their audiences directly. Scott, who is known for his informative, entertaining and high-energy presentations, will alleviate fears on using new age digital signage tools and offer step-by-step action plans on how implement modern marketing strategies to deliver success digital content.

3) Attendees can visit up to 187 exhibitors

4) It offers educational programs

This year’s show will hold over 121 educational sessions for attendees. With titles like Critical New Privacy Paradigms to Know About as You Design Your Content, Dog Whistles and Kool-Aid: Avoiding Business and Technology Mistakes and Human Factors in Digital Signage: Be Sure Your Audience Can Read Your Message, attendees will go home educated in all aspects of digital signage.

5) It takes attendees on a digital signage installation tour

Even though seating is limited, DSE 2016 offers attendees the opportunity to take the 11th Annual Digital Signage Guide Installation tour. The tour focuses the lens on some of the best digital signage installations in Las Vegas, including the Aria Resort & Casino, Fashion Show Mall, The Mob Museum and Omnia Nightclub. Attendees will be treated to a networking lunch at the Las Vegas Convention Center, where they can continue chatting about the tour.

6) Can’t attend in March? Swing by DSE South America

For those who are unable to attend DSE2016 in March, another version of the show, DSE South America, will be held May 3-6. The show, which will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, combines the digital signage market expertise of Exponation, DSE’s parent company, and BTS Informa, one of South America’s trade show producers. DSE South America will feature a show floor and other educational opportunities similar to DSE 2016. For more information, click here.
