Almo Pro AV Offering Barco ClickShare Training

Free onsite Barco Clickshare certified specialist and certified technical expert training at Almo Baltimore HQ June 19-20 worth three AVIXA CTS RUs.

June 18, 2018 TechDecisions Staff 2 Comments

Allowing employees to connect their own devices to presentation technology is a good way to streamline a presentation. When an employee can connect through wireless distribution their device to a screen or projector, they are automatically familiar with the technology they are using to present. Consider also customer, clients or potential business partners that come in to present – they may not be accustomed to your technology but they are well in tune with their personal device. This might mean a dynamic system in which a device connects to a display in order to drive content. This content can be manipulated on-screen, annotated, saved and shared. On the other hand, it could be as simple as screen-sharing technology that displays the same images on the device on a screen, where the presenter is scrolling through content on their own device and driving the presentation. Almo Professional A/V today announced it is the first distributor to offer Barco ClickShare training.

The training at Almo’s Baltimore headquarters June 19 and 20 is worth three AVIXA CTS renewal units (RUs). Participants in the June 19 session can earn a certified specialist designation, while those in the June 20 session can become certified technical experts.

The Baltimore ClickShare training sessions are being led by Almo director of business development Rob Ziv.

“Resellers and integrators who want to set themselves apart from the competition while earning valuable CTS RUs should take advantage of this opportunity to become Barco ClickShare-certified,” said Ziv in the Almo announcement.

“During the one-day training, participants are going to master new technologies, develop new skills and refresh their knowledge of Barco products. As a result, they will earn the reputation as a Barco-certified business partner while providing a competitive advantage and in-house expertise, all of which increase visibility and business potential.”

The ClickShare training sessions take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with lunch included.

Additional dates are being planned for Almo-led training sessions in Dallas; Duluth, Minn,; Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Long Island, N.Y.; Philadelphia and Sacramento, Calif.

Barco Clickshare won a 2017 Commercial Integrator BEST award in the collaborations category.
