Pelco has a number of different cameras being showcased on the floor here at ASIS 2017.
The Optera panoramic multi-sensor cameras with SureVision 3.0 technology, which is said to offer exceptional wide dynamic range (WDR) performance for challenging lighting environments.
Available in 360°, 270° and 180°, the 12-megapixel multi-sensor cameras provide completely stitched, seamless and blended panoramic views with electronic p/t/z capability across the entire panoramic image for wide area surveillance and forensic scene analysis.
The cameras are also integrated with more than 20 of the industry’s leading video management system (VMS) solutions, according to the company.
“Pelco Optera cameras provide HD imaging that surrounds the user with high-quality video,” says Kevin Saldanha, director of product management, Pelco by Schneider Electric. “The cameras’ ability to increase situational awareness, lower TCO and increase security makes them an increasingly popular imaging solution with users and integrators alike.”
Pelco’s Spectra IP p/t/z cameras also feature the company’s exclusive SureVision 3.0 technology and can capture images at up to 60 frames per second.
Additionally, Pelco’s smart compression technology in the Spectra line reduces bitrate usage and can reduce storage requirements as much as 70%, according to the company.
“From a pure image capture perspective, Pelco Spectra Enhanced p/t/z cameras set the benchmark in HD resolution and performance,” says Kevin Saldanha, director of product management, Pelco by Schneider Electric. “Rarely are lighting circumstances ideal, and the Spectra line solves that problem.”
