Salesforce is rolling out several new features in Sales Cloud as part of its virtual selling suite to help sales teams do their job through video meetings amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Highlining the new features is Salesforce Meetings, a new meeting management system that helps sales representatives during all phases of a virtual meetings. The feature gives sales reps a 360-degree view of meeting attendees and detailed information, including customer history, open service cases and attendee bios, according to the company’s press release.
During meetings, both the presentation and presenter are shown together, and after the call representatives can log notes for internal collaboration with Salesforce Anywhere and move deals faster with automated action items.
Although the company didn’t’ detail specific vendors, Salesforce says Salesforce Meetings is compatible with all leading videoconferencing platforms.

After the call, Einstein Video Call Coaching will give AI-powered insights on customer needs and representative performance based on video analytics. This gives managers the ability to better personalize their coaching as they continue to adapt and shift to selling via videoconferencing.
Salesforce is also rolling out its Maps Field Safety Kit for sales organizations to visualize COVID-19 trend data inside the CRM to determine which areas are safe for travel. Also included are travel approval workflows and new mobile enhancements with pre-and-post-visit health checklists.
High Velocity Sales, the company’s tool for prospecting, will now provide automated actions across the sales cycle on opportunities and accounts. The tool provides tailored outreach across various communication channels like calls and email to apply to deals that outside sellers are working on.
Salesforce meetings will be available in pilot in October, with general availability expected in February 2021.
Every other feature noted in the press release will be available in February 2021.
