DocuSign Email System Breached
An unknown hacker has breached on of DocuSign’s email systems and stolen a database containing the email addresses of DocuSign customer.
The attackers then conducted a phishing campaign targeting the stolen email addresses. The phishing emails contained the subject line “Completed *company name* – Accounting Invoice *number* Document Ready for Signature.”
The emails included a downloadable Word document that installs macro-enabled-malware on victim computers.
