Millions of people with connected pacemakers could be at risk of software glitches and hackers, according to researchers.
A recent study from White Scope analyzed seven pacemakers from four vendors and discovered over 8,600 vulnerabilities that hackers could exploit.
In theory, a hacker could shut the pacemaker down, killing the owner. It is likely a hacker would hold the owner at ransom using this tactic.
