Cybersecurity rating technology provider Security Scorecard is integrating its professional services offering with its ratings platform to provide a single point of orchestration to help organizations better manage their cybersecurity risks.
According to the company, the Professional Services team helps customers manage their risk in concert with its global cyber risk data set. Paired with its ratings platform, Security Scorecard bills the offering as an end-to-end cyber risk management tool covering everything from monitoring to remediation.
Security Scorecard says its Professional Services team utilizes combined data and dynamic risk intelligence from its ratings platform together with customized data from dark web mining to give each customer a comprehensive view of their risk posture that is continuously assessed and triaged.
The professional services offering is supported by a team of 24/7 digital forensic incident response (DFIR) experts, featuring cyber risk intelligence as-a-service to give organizations actionable intelligence.
The offering also features third-party risk management that includes workshops and roadmaps to help organizations mature their programs, tabletop exercises to test an organization’s cyber readiness, penetration testing and red team exercises, and DFIR support to help collect, preserve and analyze digital evidence when responding to an incident.
According to Security Scorecard, its team of experts regularly testify in court and collaborate with law enforcement, and incident response support is also available 24/7 and onsite during a crisis to help contain attacks, identify the threat actors and safely progress to the eradication phase.
The company says its professional services team also helps prevent churn across internal security and TPRM teams by giving them expertise to maintain program integrity and business uptime, especially for under-resourced teams.
“CISOs are under pressure to protect their organizations, and are now accountable to the Board of Directors, but they lack a single-point of orchestration for cybersecurity workflow and to define success,” said Aleksandr Yampolskiy, co-founder and CEO, SecurityScorecard, in a statement. “Our services and software platform provides CISOs with peace of mind that they have the broad visibility to take action quickly, hold their vendors accountable and communicate those actions promptly.”
