When a business is bustling and employees are on the move, it helps to have a workforce of mobile devices to maintain an even, steady flow of communication. But this comes with a risk. These devices can be hacked, or even worse, lost. To protect your investments and keep productivity high, it’s important to monitor and audit these essential communication devices.

ProMobi Technologies offers way to do this with its MobiLock Pro for Windows 10 solution. From one unified dashboard, IT managers can manage Android, iOS, and Windows devices.

“We understand that businesses are becoming more nimble with a focus on increased productivity and decreased security risks. IT managers and business decision makers are now exploring better and quick ways of customer service delivery, problem resolutions, operational effectiveness, and employee productivity, says Sriram Kakarala, vice president, Mobility at ProMobi Technologies. “Adding Windows 10 device management capability is our next step to help out businesses in building smart and modern workspaces with a customer-focused business environment, backed by employee productivity.”

Some of the features included in MobiLock Pro include:

Creating Device Profiles to enforce policies and Groups to organize devices, App Blacklisting, Wi-Fi configuration, Location Tracking, Exchange ActiveSync and Email Configuration to secure, manage and audit company-owned Windows 10 devices, including desktops, laptops, and Surface tablets.

According to the MobiLock website, the solution is helpful to many vertical markets:

Logistics:

Restrict employees from accessing unwanted apps or watching videos on company-owned devices. You can also track the device location in real-time.

Retail:

Manage your Android-based mPOS devices with MobiLock by giving control to the admin to remotely enable/disable the app on the device.

Education:

Prevent students from playing games or watching videos on devices in the classroom to make the learning experience more exciting & engaging.

Healthcare:

Secure the use of corporate-owned mobile devices used by doctors and staff members. Restrict access and usage of unwanted & malicious applications.
