Thrive, a managed security services provider with more than 1,500 global customers, has upgraded their around-the-clock Security Operation Center with the integration of a Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) engine designed to enable the firms’ global security team to enhance its clients’ security.
According to the company, the integration features tool aggregation and coordinated response, unified operations, reduced alert fatigue and artificial intelligence designed to significantly reduce incident response times for client threats and provide higher quality information for the Thrive security team to respond to advanced attacks in real time.
Mike Gray, Thrive’s chief technology officer, said in a statement that cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities are multiplying due to more sophisticated social engineering coupled with a rise in micro-ransomware incidents.
“That means vigilance against attacks of all kinds must also evolve. Incorporating a SOAR into our robust global security operations unit will allow Thrive clients to have a stronger defense system in place against cybersecurity attacks and enable our team to respond more expeditiously to any issues should they arise,” Gray said.
According to Thrive, its unified cybersecurity platform enables the firm’s SOC professionals to automatically address critical security issues without client intervention, helping organizations stay secure in the midst of a global cybersecurity talent shortage.
