Kaseya Ltd. has added new billing management and security features to its Unigma by Kaseya cloud management platform.
The managed services software vendor, which maintains dual headquarters in New York City and Miami, announced those enhancements at its second annual European user conference, Kaseya Connect Europe, which takes place October 3 to 5 in Amsterdam.
The new billing functionality, which is available immediately, lets Kaseya partners feed invoices for Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services directly to PSA solutions from ConnectWise, Autotask, and Kaseya itself. The new functionality is designed to make meeting the requirements of Microsoft’s Cloud Solution Provider program simpler and eliminate costly and time-consuming manual billing reconciliation processes.
“It’s become clear that MSPs need to leverage public cloud infrastructure and services like Office 365 to properly manage their clients’ IT needs,” said Jim Lippie, Kaseya’s general manager of cloud computing, in prepared remarks. “With that said, monitoring, managing and billing for cloud services can be time consuming for MSPs who are desperately trying to maximize margins in the changing IT services landscape. Unigma delivers the cloud automation every MSP needs to grow their top and bottom lines.”
Kaseya has also integrated Unigma with AuthAnvil, its identity and access management solution. Also available immediately, the new functionality gives Unigma users single sign-on access to other solutions.
The new edition of Unigma integrates with Microsoft Azure Active Directory as well, Kaseya announced.
Kaseya acquired the Unigma solution along with its maker, Unigma LLC, in May for an undisclosed sum. In addition to functionality for preparing usage-based bills for Office 365, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS deployments, the system includes monitoring and management tools for those platforms and a cost optimization utility designed to save money by eliminating underutilized resources and identifying opportunities to use lower-priced or more appropriately-sized service plans.
The latest product news from Kaseya comes just under two months after the vendor announced an updated release of its Traverse network monitoring solution that integrates with the company’s VSA RMM platform to provide a single interface for managing network and endpoint issues.
