London-based infrastructure and services company NTT is launching 360 Observability, a new managed service designed to allow organizations to achieve deep visibility over their cloud-native applications, hybrid IT and multi-cloud infrastructure correlated to business context across their entire IT stack.
NTT says 360 Observability combines end-to-end maturity assessments of architectures and strategies tied to desired business outcomes and KPIs, and application monitoring for comprehensive visibility into contingent performance issues so teams can quickly fix problems
The company says 360 Observability is powered by Cisco Full-Stack Observability and can help IT teams deliver secure and reliable digital experiences with insights tied to business outcomes. The service brings a fully integrated approach to application performance, digital experiences, resource optimization, multi-cloud infrastructure and network and application security to help teams identity, prioritize and resolve issues that could impact user experience and the overall business.
According to NTT, 360 Observability has two main components, including Observability Maturity Assessment to give IT the expertise and knowledge it needs to improve performance management and align to business and IT goals; and Multi-Cloud Application Monitoring to provide data-driven performance insights from the bowser and mobile app to application middleware and backend databases.
Other key features of 360 Observability include:
- Application and infrastructure health checks
- Customizable monitoring dashboards
- Intelligent alerts and reports
- Fault isolation and acceleration
- Year-round proactive application monitoring
- Cost and performance optimizations
Oscar Garcia, global senior vice president of strategy and technology at NTT Managed Cloud Services, says 360 Observability solution marks a new chapter for the company and its clients.
“With Cisco technology, clients will have an end-to-end performance view across systems, applications, multiple clouds and networks using advanced analytics and automation to transform operations and deliver a superior customer experience,” Garcia says.
Organizations want the flexibility to consume advanced observability and analytics as a managed service, says Alexandra Zagury, vice president of partner managed and as-a-service sales at Cisco.
“NTT’s 360 Observability demonstrates how these capabilities can be jointly developed and delivered, built on a foundation of Cisco Full-Stack Observability, to help our shared customers achieve superior digital experiences, drive revenue, and accelerate digital transformation,” Zagury says.
