InfoComm is the largest event for professional AV in the world with over 980 exhibitors and more than 38000 attendees from more than 100 countries. Held once each year at varying locations, it offers attendees the opportunity to see the latest audiovisual technology, learn skills to advance their careers, and grow their professional network. Audio, digital signage, unified communications and collaboration (UCC) and security are just some of the types of technology attendees can expect to see at the show.

With so much happening at the show, it’s easy to lose track of some of the announcements and information coming out of InfoComm. We’ve compiled a quick list of some of the announcements that you should be paying attention to:
RGB Spectrum Launches QuadView UHD
RGB Spectrum announced the launch of the new QuadView UHD multiviewer, a high-performance processor designed to display up to four sources simultaneously in a variety of layouts, just before InfoComm. Simply connect the QuadView UHD multiviewer to any monitor from XGA up to UHD resolution. With the QuadView UHD you can mix and match input resolutions, scale video inputs up to 4K UHD and route any input to any window. Powerful image processing capabilities allow the multiviewer to display both HD and UHD inputs without downscaling. Up to 16 standard window layouts are provided — including quad-split, full screen, triple-window, and side-by-side mode.
SiliconCore Shows off Lavender LED Display
SiliconCore showed off it’s recently announced Lavender 1.2mm LED display, the world’s highest resolution display of its kind. The Lavender 1.2mm achieved Full HD at just 110″ and has a viewing distance of less than one meter. This pixel pitch makes LED accessible for close proximity applications within corporate, command and control, and retail environments at a fraction of the power consumption of traditional displays.
Stewart Filmscreen Showcases FIDELEDY Vision Image Enhancement System
Stewart Filmscreen announced the release of the FIDELEDY vision image enhancement system for LED video wall tiles just weeks before the kickoff of InfoComm. With over 60 years of image fidelity expertise, Stewart Filmscreen engineers, building upon an award-winning heritage with rear projection screen surfaces, developed the FIDELEDY Vision system to give LED video walls a true cinematic appearance. In addition, the system eliminates moiré interference issues prevalent in re-photography situations. The system was demonstrated on Christie LED Tiles at the Stewart Filmscreen booth.
