Mimo Monitors and Revel Digital Software have developed a touch-free temperature-taking platform to help organizations stay healthy and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a press release, Mimo Monitors said the platform is ideal for entrances to grocery stores, office buildings, schools, assisted living facilities and more.
This is one of many products coming to the market that aim to help organizations track coronavirus cases and keep sick people out of populated areas.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control has issued guidance on temperature screening, but is not requiring businesses to do so. However, individual U.S. states or other countries may have those requirements for certain businesses or industries.
Even if there are no mandates, businesses can still require employees to submit to routine temperature checks.
The new solution includes Mimo Monitors’ premium hardware display and the Revel Digital CMS analytics and temperature sensing software, along with a one-year license.
The company says the solution – equipped with a medical-grade temperature sensor – is compact, durable and reliable for seamless installation and intuitive use.
“With the evolving times, it’s more crucial than ever to ensure that your loved ones they places they frequent are safe,” said David Anderson, CEO of Mimo Monitors. “We created this solution with ultimate durability, flexibility, and reliability in mind to ensure that this platform promotes safety and can meet and exceed the needs of every business.”
The platform is available in wall mount or floor stand kiosks in sizes up to 32 inches and can be customized to meet the needs of individual customers.
It can provide a simple pass/fail option to more all-encompassing options that include remote management and syncing between locations. It runs on multiple hardware platforms, including BrightSign and Android.
