Is your huddle room outdated? Do you cross your fingers when you hold a videoconference that the equipment will work? Do you feel as if you’re living in the technological dark ages every time you take a seat with your colleagues? It’s probably high time for a huddle room update. But who has the time or the money to invest in bring your huddle room up to speed?
You might not have to, thanks to a contest sponsored by ZiipRoom. Together with partners Aver, VideoConference Gear, and Yamaha, ZiipRoom will select five companies to receive everything required to transform their existing “huddle room in need” into a state-of-the-art collaboration hot spot. All it takes if filling out an application (see the link below) to enter for your chance to get the good to make your huddle room a more productive space.
Winners of the Huddle Room Makeover will receive the following enterprise equipment:
- Aver UltraHD Camera
- Revolabs (Yamaha) USB Speakerphone
- Intel NUC with Windows 10 Pro software (from VideoConferenceGear.com)
- ZiipRoom MeetingExperience Software
This suite of gear is focused on collaboration, a wise decision, given that 20-percent of meeting room budgets are now being spent on collaborative technologies, according to a recently-published end user research project carried out by Futuresource Consulting across the U.K., U.S.A., Germany, and France.
Based on statistics published by Highfive, it appears as if many corporations could benefit from better efficiency of meetings. Here are some of the finding, which may indicate that your huddle room could use some TLC:
American business people hold approximately 11 million meetings a day, which equals 55 million meetings per week and 220 million meetings per year.
The time employees spend in meetings has risen around 10% each year, since 2000.
The average meeting length is between 31 to 60 minutes.
ZiipRoom will be accepting entries through Oct. 31 for this unique opportunity to upgrade the Huddle Room.
