Security and continuous compliance and automation platform Drata is launching Risk Management, a new tool designed to enable the management of end-to-end risk programs by continuously monitoring, identifying, assessing and treating risks.
The launch comes shortly after the company released Trust Center, an integrated offering to its automation platform that offers a real-time, public view of a company’s security controls. Risk Management will be interested into the company’s current platform to provide a holistic view of building and maintaining a healthy security posture, the company says.
Drata bills Risk Management as a tool that provides one central view of all potential risks so organizations can make decisions across their entire estate and address issues quickly.
Key features include a risk register that allows organizations to identify and analyze risks, monitor and manage risks, recognize evolving patterns and more with a library of 150 pre-mapped threat-based risks based on established sources and standards.
In addition, Drata is extending its continuous monitoring capabilities to help evaluate and proactively notify customers about the effectiveness of their controls. The Drata Control Framework also comes pre-mapped to the company’s threat-based risk library and to the requirements of multiple security and privacy standards and regulations, the company says.
In a statement, Drata co-founder and CEO Adam Markowitz said the company aims to be the trust layer between organizations and those they do business with.
“Launching Risk Management and integrating it into our platform is one of the many steps we’re taking to address the maturing needs of customers advancing in their compliance journey,” Markowitz said.
