Bright Data Expands Its Presence in the U.S. Under Omri Orgad’s Leadership

August 17, 2021 TechDecisions Staff

Global industry leader in making public web data accessible to all to continue its expansion of operations in North America with growth in New York City

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Bright Data, the global industry leader in making public web data accessible to all, is announcing its continued growth in the United States following a successful expansion into the region led by Omri Orgad, Managing Director, North America. Bright Data’s growing customer base includes multiple Fortune 500 companies based in North America. Its recently established U.S. office consists of 25 employees and focuses on the unique data needs of major U.S. enterprises and mid-market customers.

Since establishing itself in New York City in January, 2020, Bright Data has continued to recruit both within the state and across the U.S., reflecting the growth in its business activity and customer base. Bright Data is also expanding its services towards mid-market and enterprise-focused activities, and its presence in the U.S. will accelerate and drive this direction.

In addition, Bright Data’s New York City hub will help the ever-growing partnerships cultivated under The Bright Initiative, an organization working alongside Bright Data to make use of data for a better tomorrow. To date, most Bright Initiative member NGOs and academic institutions such as Princeton University, Northeastern, UC San Diego, and University of California, Santa Barbara are based in North America and will benefit from enhanced focus on their needs.

“Bright Data now has a notable presence in North America and this will allow us to enhance our technology offering and continue to deliver value to our U.S. customers, partnerships and beyond,” said Omri Orgad, Managing Director, North America, Bright Data. “Our customers and partners in the region will benefit from a high level of customized and dedicated support. The support and innovation from our team will allow businesses to reach their data-driven goals. Connecting with businesses in this region is key and having a physical presence and growing team on the ground allows us to support new customers as they set out on their data journey.”

“All brands and organizations, no matter their size, purpose or scale, have realized that public web data has increasingly become critical to achieving their goals,” said Or Lenchner, CEO, Bright Data. “Whether it is used for responding to crises in real time, maintaining a competitive edge, or reflecting consumer sentiments, public web data is flexible, sharp and reliable. We are empowering businesses to make vital strategic decisions so they can win more and lose less.”
