LED is sure to be a big hit at InfoComm 2017 in Orlando, June 14-16, and SiliconCore will give attendees a demo of its LISA platform for LED displays, as well as its new Z.A.C.H. LED driver chip.

Eric Li, CEO of SiliconCore, takes a moment to speak with CI about what the company has in store in their booth at InfoComm 2017.

If we learn about only one product innovation in your InfoComm 2017 booth, what should it be?

Our LISA technology platform which we are showcasing at InfoComm has been dubbed a game changer for the LED Display industry. We have had a huge R&D team dedicated to bringing this technology to fruition and are the first manufacturer to reach production on a COB (chip on board) technology at this level.

The main difference will be the robustness and long lifespan of the LED Displays utilizing this technology, opening up the ability to utilize fine pixel pitch resolution LED Displays for digital signage, event applications and other high foot traffic applications.

Anyone with projects due for installation in 2018 needs to come along and check out the displays we will have at InfoComm.

What if we have time to see one more thing?

We are debuting our new Z.A.C.H. LED driver chip at InfoComm, which has been another dramatic development from the team. It’s a new patented technology, designed to give our displays market leading high dynamic range (HDR) and color reproduction.

Showcased as a 4K 1.2mm LED Display at InfoComm, the Z.A.C.H. LED driver chip enables our displays to demonstrate even greater detail. It’s an active technology controlled by the driver, which compensates for the passive variance naturally presented in each individual LED diode.

The difference is best seen in the low brightness levels of the display when color uniformity starts to degrade as it does in other LED displays. The advantages can be seen in deep shadows and differences of detail in color, such as the texture of an object.

What’s one last impression you’d like us to take away from your InfoComm 2017 booth?

SiliconCore is at the centre of innovation in LED Displays and producing the highest quality and most efficient large scale displays on the market. If image is important to you, we provide the most vivid of displays.

Keep your eyes on us if you want to know what is in store for the future of fine pixel pitch displays.
