Three desktop displays and one large format display from NEC Display Solutions of America have received the ENERGY STAR Most Efficient of 2019 Award. The award recognizes products that deliver cutting-edge energy efficiency along with the latest technological innovation, representing the best of ENERGY STAR products. Receiving the award are the MultiSync E271N, EA231WU and EA241F, and the large format E657Q.

Award-winning Small Format Displays
The 27” E271N, 23” EA231WU and the 24” EA241F desktop displays feature LED backlighting for low power consumption while using less hazardous materials. The displays ship with ECO Mode enabled, which allows users to manually adjust the display’s brightness to save power and reduce energy costs. In addition, a carbon footprint and cost meter allows users to quickly and easily track the savings of green gas emissions. Finally, human and ambient light sensors on the EA231WU and EA241F automatically detect work conditions to determine the proper display brightness, minimizing power consumption.

Award-winning Large Format Display
Meanwhile, the large-format E657Q display is ENERGY STAR 7.0-certified and features a 4K UHD panel with direct LED backlighting, which reduces power consumption for eco-friendly digital signage. A 24-hour scheduler makes it easy to schedule on/off times, while the wake on video signal feature conserves power when no video source is connected.
