It might be hard to believe, but football season is right around the corner. Metra Home Theater Group is currently offering its Helios TV Tailgate Mount in a package deal with the Helios Amplified UHF/VHF Antenna (AS-ANT2710) for ideal game broadcasting.
Helios is a home theater accessories brand for retailers, manufactured by Metra. The TV Tailgate Mount (TGML64) is a TV mount compatible with any 32-inch to 55-inch flat screen TVs that are VESA compliant. It hooks into a standard 2-inch hitch receiver, which can be found on most vehicles.
The Amplified Antenna is for analog or digital broadcast and can be placed horizontal or vertical to obtain the best reception for local transmission.
Metra says the tailgate mount is easy to assemble, install and break down. Users can extend the arm and adjust the pole up or down to find a good position for the TV. When users are done watching TV and ready to head into the game, they can loosen the lock nut and slide the TV off the pole.
The mount supports larger TVs up to 60 pounds and works with any type of flat screen display (LED, LCD, OLED and Plasma). Metra says its black powder coat finish is durable to withstand the elements for outdoor use.
