Leyard and Planar

At InfoComm 2019, June 12-14, in Orlando, Leyard and Planar introduced a wide range of displays to its lineup.

Leyard TVF Complete

First up is the Leyard TVF Complete, a family of LED video wall solutions designed for a wide range of environments and applications. Leyard TVF Complete is optimized for Full HD and 4K resolutions and comes in 109”, 137”, 164” and 219” diagonal sizes. Each Leyard TVF Complete model comes with configured LED display cabinets, video controller, cables, wall mounts, trim and spare modules.

Leyard TVF 1.2 and DirectLight X 0.7

Another addition is the Leyard TVF 1.2. The new 1.2 millimeter fine pixel pitch model supports full HD and 4K., and joins other models in 1.5, 1.8 and 2.5 millimeter pixel pitches.

The company also showcased the finest pixel pitch LED video wall display in the industry—the Leyard DirectLight X 0.7 with a breakthrough pixel pitch of just 0.7 millimeters. Announced in 2018, this industry-first pixel pitch allows for 4K and 8K resolution video walls in smaller spaces, matching the pixel density seen in traditional control room video walls but with a completely seamless and uniform image.

Leyard CarbonLight CLI Series

Leyard demonstrated how its  CarbonLight CLI Series displays can create a curved video wall. On display was a video wall measuring 23-feet-wide by 10-feet-tall, featuring a 1.9 millimeter pixel pitch and curved wings to create an immersive visual experience.

Two New Clarity Matrix LCD Video Wall Displays

The expanded Clarity Matrix G3 LCD Video Wall System product line now includes 55-inch models (G3 LX55M and G3 MX55M) with sub-1 millimeter bezels and enhanced visual performance, as well as 65-inch models (MX65U-4K LCD featuring Ultra HD resolution (3840×2160).  Both 55-inch video wall displays feature a 0.88 millimeter tiled bezel width, cutting nearly in half the previously smallest bezel size of the Clarity Matrix video wall line.

The 65-inch model offers 700-nits brightness and 3.5 millimeter tiled bezel width, allowing users to achieve 8K native resolution with a 2×2 video wall configuration and show more high resolution images within a single display.

“The latest additions to the Clarity Matrix G3 line provide customers, in the same size video wall, much higher resolution and seamless viewing area without sacrificing robustness,” says Steve Seminario, vice president of product marketing at Leyard and Planar. “We’re excited to offer more cutting-edge customer choices for the dynamic video wall market.”

Complementing the Clarity Matrix G3 is the off-board Leyard Video Controller, representing the industry’s first LCD video wall solution to embed advanced video processing directly into the product, delivering up to 5x 4K input and 9x 1080P output resolution with a single 1U Controller. Designed to simplify installation and service, Clarity Matrix G3 features points of connectivity and potential service away from the video wall, allowing users to manage the video wall displays from a central location.
