10 Amazing Video Walls at InfoComm 2013

These video walls are so unique InfoComm 2013 attendees can't take their eyes off them.

Samsung comprised this video wall with its UD22B and UD46C models. After tiling the rectangular and square-shaped screens, the finished product is museum video wall art.

NanoLumens launched its DS (Design Specific) line, which combines low power requirements and low heat to almost-unprecedented flexibility and versatility that sees the displays able to be used in almost any environment and in essentially any shape.

Screen Innovations unveiled 57-inch Black Diamond tiles, furthering an already popular product line for the company. The magnetized tiles allow them to be quickly and easily installed without worry they’ll detach from the frame.The tiles will start shipping later this summer and will retail for about $1000 per panel.

This 3x3 video wall is on display in the Matrox booth. It shows some of the presentation effects that can be achieved with Mura MPX hardware, including transparency and color-keying. Matrox Mura MPX Series video wall controller boards are used to capture and display multiple inputs on video walls in many booths at InfoComm 2013.

Attendees have been trying out the Christie interactive multi-touch video wall with bonded Corning Gorilla Glass. Four Christie FHD551-XG super-narrow bezel, high-definition LCD panels provide a 36-square-foot, seamless digital canvas.

Prysm showcased the latest version of its LPD video wall technology. It offers a 472 x 320 per tile pixel resolution and has 178 degree viewing angles that allow the display’s content to be seen from anywhere in the room. The size and configuration of the video wall can be tailored to fit the needs of any indoor environment. It does not require special HVAC or electrical upgrades to run cool. The video wall solution can scale images to more than 100-feet wide. Users can interact with the displays via touch, motion sensing or their mobile devices.

Delta was showing its sleek Razor 70-inch DLP Video Wall cubes. What’s nice about the Razor is its slim profile, they provide auto color calibration and have redundant light and power. These products traditionally are thought of as solutions for data centers, security and broadcast applications.

LG says it’s seeing demand for its 84-inch WS70MS-B Ultra HD LED Display to replace 42x2 video walls.

Nothing is official, but word from the InfoComm 2013 show floor is that an attendance record has been set inside the Orange County Convention Center.

And there was no shortage of flashy elements to grasp the attention of each attendee.

The projection mapping from Christie Digital and Vivitek might top the most memorable aspects of the show, but the amazing video walls on hand will also leave a lasting impression.
