Dropbox is launching updates across its entire product portfolio, including Capture, HelloSign and DocSend designed to enhance video communication and make workflows more seamless.
According to the company, the improvements to those tools will help customers stay connected and move work forward. Key among the improvements is making Dropbox Capture, the company’s screen recording tool, available across all Dropbox plans.
This allows organizations with Professional, Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise plans to record videos in 4K up to a storage limit and edit videos of any length. With Basic, Plus, and Family plans, users get up to two hours of recording time at 1080p and editing for videos under five minutes.
Similarly, the company is reintroducing HelloSign as Dropbox Sign to make it easier for users and teams to use the company’s full suite of tools. In addition, HelloSign API, HelloWorks, and HelloFax are changing their names to Dropbox Sign API, Dropbox Forms, and Dropbox Fax.
All Dropbox Sign plans will offer unlimited self-signing, allowing customer to sign as many documents as they need. Dropbox Forms will also be included in Dropbox Sign standard and premium plans and will offer 50 free Forms transactions per month to help automate manual processes.
Dropbox is also making advanced video analytics available as a feature in DocSend, giving users the ability to share videos and access analytics such as playback completion rate, time watched, geo-tagging information and insights into individual viewer data.
Advanced analytics are also available, including an engagement graph, performance graph and video engagement settings for users on standard, advanced and enterprise plans.
Capture will also be incorporated into DocSend this fall, providing users with one location to record and host a video message.
