Avocor has released three new 55-inch collaboration displays designed to meet the needs of remote and hybrid work as well as distance and in-person learning.
According to the company, the displays are designed for home offices, dedicated remote learning areas, huddle rooms and other conferencing spaces across the enterprise.
The three new offerings are the $2,699 Avocor AVE-5530, the $5,999 all-in-one Avocor AVW-5555 with an integrated camera and speakers and the $5,399 Avocor ALZ-5530 Zoom Rooms for Touch interactive display. All will be available late in the third quarter.
In a statement, CEO Scott Hix said the COVID-19 pandemic has made collaboration on site and remotely a necessity, and the displays aim to address those needs.
“Because of their unique design and flexible uses for corporate and education applications, Avocor’s 55-inch displays are not only perfect for small huddle and focus rooms but are also ideal for home offices to create the most effective communication experience,” Hix said.

The AVE-5530 utilizes optimized touch and glass technology for a smooth and accurate, low tatency writing experience with object recognition. It includes a native 4K display that allows for BYOD with a single Type-C connector to connect any Windows laptop to the display. It also includes a 30W soundbar and camera to become an interactive videoconferencing tool.
Avocor calls the AVW-5555 an all-in-one interactive solution with tuned cameras and speakers for videoconferencing. It also provides for BYOD with a Type-C connection, but it can display the laptop’s content while giving the user camera and audio control, power to the laptop and hard-wired ethernet over a single cable.
Other features include built-in sensors, and the Microsoft Azure Sphere for advanced communication and security.
The ALZ-5530 allows users to share and co-annotate across desktops, mobile and Zoom Rooms. It combines a Logitech MeetUp with an Avocor display and Zoom-ready Avocor OOPS Windows-10 Intel i& for secure communication, whiteboarding, saving and sharing.
It features a 4K camera via Logitech MeetUp with an extra-wide field of view and pan/tilt lens to provide 160 degrees of room coverage.
The displays are available through Avocor’s distribution and reseller network.
