Almo Pro A/V announces that it’s now a Biamp Systems distributor. Just in time to for its E4 AV Tour, the distributor says it offers Devio conferencing solutions for huddle spaces in the U.S., Mexico and Latin America; and Devio and Nexia digital signal processors to Latin America.
VP of marketing Melody Craigmyle says she expects the partnership to expand. “The Biamp relationship is very exciting,” she adds.
In a press release, Almo points out that the new relationship with Biamp is being supported by new Almo Business Development Manager and audio expert Steve Alexander.
Biamp will participate in the 2018 Almo E4 AV Tour, which begins in Washington, D.C. on March 6.
Ramping Up Almo Audio Offerings
For Almo Pro A/V, Biamp Devio represents a solution to a need it had recognized among its dealers. With the growing popularity of collaboration solutions and huddle rooms it was important for the distributor to offer audio solutions specirfically suited for those spaces, according to Craigmyle.
“We are selling so much collaboration hardware, like [Barco’s] ClickShare, that it just made sense that we needed that small, huddle-space, plug-and-play audio solution to go in there as well,” she says. “That’s where Devio fits in, so it was perfect.”
More from Almo’s press release:
“So many of our partners are working on huddle room installations and need a cost-effective, easy-to-use audio solution so it is critical that we are able to offer these solutions both in the U.S. and Latin America,” said Sam Taylor, executive vice president and COO for Almo Professional A/V.
“For the integrator, Biamp offers a simple, all-in-one connectivity and collaboration solution for spaces that don’t require the complexity of larger rooms,” explained Steve Alexander, business development manager for Almo Professional A/V. “Biamp’s Devio line is a functional, elegant solution that requires minimal configuration while seamlessly interfacing with unified communications platforms such as Skype, Zoom, BlueJeans and GoToMeeting.”
“Biamp products are known for delivering high quality results for both complex projects and simple installations,” said Jody Thomas, director of business development at Biamp Systems. “Through our collaboration with Almo Pro A/V, more integrators will now have access to products and solutions like Devio, enabling them to efficiently implement high-performance solutions in unified communications environments.”
