Knowlton says clients are reporting audio quality issues when remote workers call into conference rooms or huddle rooms, and investments in those rooms are being wasted.
“We’re working with various clients who are in the process of ‘fixing’ their rooms after groups of disgruntled users have complained about the experience of being remote while others are in rooms.,” Knowlton says. “The expensive solutions they bought just weren’t viable for the spaces they were installed in.”
According to Knowlton, companies should not rush to make any decisions and survey their remote work landscape first. Organizations should avoid making investments just to have something better to offer their employees.
