In this episode of the My TechDecisions Podcast, Associate Editor Zachary Comeau speaks with James Stranger, chief technology evangelist at CompTIA, about the current state of cybersecurity training and how it needs to evolve to keep pace with recent cyber attacks to keep the end user and entire organization protected.
According to Stranger, it is absolutely critical that IT departments and end users be on the same page when it comes to cybersecurity awareness, and that starts with making cybersecurity part of the company culture. Simply watching videos and answering a question won’t help give end users the skills and knowledge they need to identify and respond to increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks.
