Open Options and OnSSI announces they have expanded their existing technology partnership to provide a two-way integration between the Ocularis and DNA Fusion applications, allowing access events to be shown in the VMS client.
Open Options’ previous integration with OnSSI for allowed DNA Fusion users the ability to pull up live and recorded video based on access events, utilize video tool tips from the camera tree, view video graphics on maps, and handle p/t/z camera controls all through the DNA Fusion interface.
With OnSSI’s Ocularis version 5.4 VMS solution, users now have the option to view and manage DNA Fusion events through the software’s event manager. Events are filtered through a proxy configurator where the operator can select specific events to be surfaced in the Ocularis interface.
“The introduction of this new functionality by OnSSI has allowed Open Options a simple yet powerful way to deliver our access control events and system data into the Ocularis interface. This expanded integration benefits the end user by giving them a choice in where they can monitor and manage their unified security system,” says Brent Doherty, vice president of marketing and communications at Open Options.
“This integration between Ocularis and DNA Fusion provides users with the ability to easily combine access control and video into a powerful, effective and intelligent solution that increases both security and situational awareness,” says Mulli Diamant, vice president of international business development, OnSSI. “Because Ocularis and DNA Fusion are both built on open architecture platforms, this integrated solution is capable of delivering more robust intelligence
across multiple platforms.”
