IDIS releases its latest network video recorder (NVR), the DR-1204P, part of the IDIS flagship DirectIP range of offerings.
Dr. Peter Kim, senior director at IDIS, says the NVR is well-suited for small- and medium-sized environments thanks to its small form factor and low-noise operation.
“The DR-1204P provides a powerfully efficient, truly plug-and-play way to gain the full complement of features and benefits offered by IDIS’s award-winning DirectIP technology, without the costs and complications of an overdesigned solution for a limited need,” says Kim.
The DR-1204P supports up to 5-megapixel HD recording and one month’s footage retention. It utilizes Intelligent Codec to deliver savings on bandwidth and storage (particularly when used with Motion Adaptive Transmission, or MAT, in areas where there is little to no motion or “out of/after hours” periods), according to the company.
The new 4-channel NVR also comes with cost-free video management software (VMS), IDIS Center and mobile apps — resulting in zero licensing costs without any ongoing service or maintenance fees
End users can manage multiple locations in one application and see what’s happening 24/7 with live HD view via a smartphone or tablet while on the move with IDIS Mobile.
