Yale Locks & Hardware announces the launch of a new line of interconnected electronic locksets for multi-family applications.
The company states that the locks provide property owners a cost-effective, scalable wireless access management solution and residents a new level of convenience.
The new interconnected locks combine an electronic deadbolt with an integrated lever to offer single motion egress for residential safety and security.
They can be used as stand-alone PIN code access locksets or as connected devices. The interconnected locks are available on two platforms – the Yale Real Living Assure platform, which offers the convenience of wireless operation using Z-Wave or ZigBee technology, or in a Data-on-Card configuration for use with Yale Accentra cloud-based software, according to the company.
The Assure locks are available in Z-Wave or ZigBee configurations for integration with over 50 alarm and home automation platforms. They are available in three styles — push button or touchscreen keypads with cylinder override, or a key-free touchscreen. The option of Bluetooth control uses digital keys accessed through the Yale Assure app.
The Data-on-Card version is a touchscreen keypad with key override and is compatible with Yale Accentra cloud-based lock management software that enables easy access management from any location or device. Cards and/or fobs are used for access and one-time PIN codes can be issued in the event of a lockout.
Both product lines are well-suited for property owners looking to transition from conventional locks and keys to a scalable access management system.
Both the Assure and Data-on-Card electronic locksets are ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 certified.
