Campus Safety magazine has found that more than nine out of ten schools, hospitals and universities in North America are deploying video surveillance systems. Due the popularity of security cameras and because so many of you are personally involved in the protection efforts of your organizations, we are requesting that you participate in our 2018 Video Surveillance Survey so we can learn more about how your campus uses its security cameras. Even if your organization doesn’t have security cameras installed, we want to know if you plan on installing them in the future or why you have chosen not to deploy them.
Those of you who complete the questionnaire will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win one of four $25 gift cards.
Previous research conducted by Campus Safety magazine on video surveillance has uncovered some interesting trends. For example, CS’ 2016 video surveillance survey found respondents to be much more satisfied with the quality and coverage of their security cameras than ever before.
In this year’s survey, we’re asking about camera coverage, clarity of images, maintenance issues and more. The results of this survey will appear in an upcoming issue of Campus Safety Magazine as well as online at CampusSafetyMagazine.com.
The estimated time to complete the questionnaire is 10 minutes, and all of your answers and information will remain confidential. We are also encouraging participants to pass this link onto their peers at other hospitals, schools and universities. The more input we receive, the better data we will be able to provide the Campus Safety community, which will help you do your jobs better.
Please complete the survey by Thursday, Feb. 8
Thank you for participating, and good luck in our prize drawing!
