It’s no surprise that some of the best jobs in America for 2022 are ones that allow work from home (WFH) and the jobs with the most access to WFH are in tech. At least 90% of database architects report having access to working from home, according to Glassdoor.
Enterprise architects came in as the number one best job in America for 2022, according to Glassdoor’s top 50 jobs in America for 2022. Responsibilities include the upkeep and maintenance of an organization’s technology infrastructure and overseeing software that is used to improve business process.
The second-best job is a full stack engineer, whose responsibilities include developing web sites or applications, catering to both the user experience and functionality.
The third best job of 2022 is data scientist, whose responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to extract insights and improve business decision making.
The most common technical skill from Glassdoor’s 50 best jobs in America for 2022 is machine learning, which is important for jobs like data scientists (ranked #3), machine learning engineer (ranked #6), and software engineer (ranked #8). Workers with this skill must be able to develop models to identify patterns in big data.
Other skills worth picking up include distributed computing in time series analysis.
