New Malware Strain Targets Mac Computers
A new malware that is described as nearly undetectable is being used to silently spy on Mac users.
The malware remotely takes control of webcams, screen, mouse, keyboards, and will install additional malicious software. The malware has been in circulation for over five years but was only recently detected.
Dubbed FruitFly, the Mac malware was discovered earlier this year and Apple released a patch. However, a new strain, FruitFly 2, has been discovered in over 400 Mac computers.
