Blue Jeans boasts the number one cloud-based videoconferencing service available. The company is the leader in their industry for the U.S., and looks to continue to expand in the coming year. The solution transcodes devices to make sure that everything works together on the service; if you have a camera you can join with at least a 3G network connection. Their free app is available on iOS and Android operating system.

Videxio offers a cloud-based video conferencing services with a unique strategy of getting their service to customers. Videxio allows for users to be assigned a number, like a phone number, to be assigned throughout their devices. When someone calls, smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops, or any device connected rings. Users can schedule meetings by setting up times and adding people from Videxio or other video conferencing services. The service works on a global backbone, with pubs set up across the country. Your system connects to the nearest hub to strengthen connectivity. Videxio partners with distributors, who then sell the service to customers. This way, Videxio doesn’t need to worry about selling the service, only ensuring that the cloud is working properly at all times.

Tely Labs has created an all-in-one video calling device that can be plugged into a monitor and network interface and ready to use. The device includes video codec, camera, microphones, network connectivity, and expansion slots within the device. TelyCloud service, included in the purchase price of the TelyHD, allows for 6-way videoconferencing and application sharing in the cloud. Also supported is connectivity to traditional videoconferencing systems such as Polycom and Cisco, other cloud-based services such as Blue Jeans and Videxio, and the device is Skype-certified.

StarLeaf offers videoconferencing solutions for desktops, rooms, and mobile videoconferencing. The company creates its own hardware including webcams or monitors with built in videoconferencing and content sharing capabilities. The system can come with a solo touchscreen or telephone with touchscreen interface to manage the system and call out to start conferencing. The company has its own cloud based system for videoconferencing and provides service to customers.

Pexip offers an expansive cloud-based videoconferencing service. The service boasts capability to connect at least 200 people from different devices onto the same virtual call at one time. The software is purely software based and virtualized, so the system can run on any desktop or mobile operating system. Users can control the conference and view presentations from their personal device.

AGT utilizes intellectual property, EncoreB2B, and years of experience to power a cloud environment with its Video-as-a-Service platform, be it a public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid of both. This unique approach enables secure, high-quality video conferencing that works with a wide range of video-enabled devices and endpoints, including proprietary video conferencing systems, tablets, smartphones, web browsers and desktops.

As companies grow, and as employees of those companies work remotely and while travelling, more and more frequently these enterprises need to utilize videoconferencing in order to stay connected. Videoconferencing is a great way to keep teams engaged and working together while separated. Additionally, meetings can be held, deals can be made, customers can be convinced, and situations can be dealt in a timely manner with no need for travelling. As videoconferencing gets more advanced, it continues to change the way we do business.

For those companies that do utilize videoconferencing on a daily basis, there is a large premium placed on ensuring that the videoconferencing services are working correctly. Fuzzy reception and dropped video calls can disrupt a meeting that could lead to companies losing money, whether through loss of a sale or taking extra time to solve problems. It isn’t always the hardware that is the problem. You could have the most advanced system available, but if the infrastructure backing it up isn’t up to standards you could still lose your calls.

Free videoconferencing services are great for pleasure, but when real business is being done you can’t count on the infrastructure of a free service. What you need to ensure your calls go off without a hitch is a Video as a Service (VaaS) cloud provider. You pay a monthly fee, and in exchange you have access to the company’s cloud structure for videoconferencing. The best part is that their business model counts on ensuring that you don’t drop any calls. It takes the worry out of your hands.

Here are six VaaS cloud providers to consider.

Yeah, BlueJeans video conferencing is good. Additionally, tools like webex, R-HUB HD video conferencing servers, polycom etc. are also widely used by businesses globally for conducting video conferences. They work well.
